I love the white/plastic studio displays, just got a 20" about a week ago :D

It's not the number of Megapixels, but the sensor size. Jamming that many MPs into a tiny sensor will not give you a good camera

An 8MP cam with with a better lens will destroy it.
Cameraphones will always be a bit gimped purely because of their size and multifunction nature.
I had the 12MP SE Satio for a couple of months and it was good for a phone but my old 7MP compact camera with a better lens blew it away.

I took a 1TB external (the small form factor model from WD), created two partitions on it, then installed Lion on one of the two partitions. It runs remarkably well, albeit just a tad slow in some aspects, but I have no major issues and it even goes to sleep! I was unable to install iStat Menus 2 (the last free version), some of the previously-installed apps from the Mac App Store (installed on my internal HDD), or use iProxy, but I really, really like Lion and can't wait for it to be released.
I ran Geekbench and, while I didn't expect a great score, only scored 3661 on a late-2008 MacBook Pro (2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 6 GB RAM). I'll just put that down to Lion being installed on an external USB2 device.
One thing I really liked was that when you download an app from the Mac App Store, instead of the app being installed in your dock, Launchpad is invoked and the app gets "installed" there.

Hmmm... Lumines I/II since you generally spend about and hour and half doing one game only to lose, swear, and start over. I dunno how long Syphon Filter is but it's a pretty good action game, as is GTA:VCS. The Sega Genesis collection will keep you busy if you like old school games since Phantasy Star IV alone is a good 10 hours to beat. Ratchet and Clank maybe?

Was there one before? Is there one now and I'm just not seeing it?
Just been curious as to why there isn't one. I'm sure lots of members have a bunch of goodies they want to get rid of and people are always in the market for new toys and gadgets.
Hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation for me.

Wow! Just wow. First, your movie editor cannot change your source footage. Second, DV is Digital Video. If you have analog video, then it impossible for it to be DV.

Hell Apple coping the flash game lay out more proves that the simple lay out used is kind of a standard long before Apple used it. It was shutting down the standard argument MS is coping.
BTW I would not even say Apple is really copy any one. It is just a simple layout and lets face it there are only so many ways to do that layout.

The recruitment seminar is really relaxed and you will get through it as long as you be yourself, engage with the recruiters and other people there and ask plenty of questions at the end regarding the job. Don't come over too much as a hardcore Apple fanboy but talk about how much you can't put down your iPhone/iPod. During the group exercises, make sure you try and come over as a good leader but good team player at the same time - make sure that your ideas are part of the main focus but be sure to agree with ideas that you wish you though of. Otherwise, just enjoy it as it's really relaxed and you will spend most of the two and a half hours watching a presentation, videos and doing some group exercises. They get through hundreds of CV's at a time and to get the chance to be considered is a good achievement. Just out of interest, what store are you thinking of joining and what position are you after? omg, all this to work at a friggin retail store?!?! I thought you were applying for work at 1 Infinite Loop or something and "creative" meaning you were designing products... someone explain to me why would anyone want to work at a mall store?

Yes, you are right, it is a dreamweaver template. I'm working right now on a new layout but I wanted to get the site up and running again so I took the quick and easy route in the meantime. Either way, I think macromedia's design is a great starter.

Is it impossible for someone to make a card that would replace the 'b' card in there currently with a 'g' card? Like is the connection to slow to make it worth doing? And what about combining that with a bluetooth connection too? I'd love to be able to put those in my laptop, and still have the pcmcia card slot still available for photo transfers.

It doesn't happen every time. I'll try to collect one. The ad seems to intrude on different parts of teh screen at duifferent times. Trying to click on one of the forum buttons under the ad clicks the ad itself, and then takes one to that website.
